Maressa Shannon !*v ^Weds Elvin MasonMiss Maressa Shannon, daughter of W. R. Shannon, Rock Island, and the late Mts. .Shannon, became the bride of EttVin E. Miason, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Mason, also of Rock Island, at a ceremony in the parsonage of Evangelical Church of Peace at 0 o’clock Saturday evening, Aug. 8th. The Rev. Frederick J. Rolf, pastor, officiated.Mdss Harriett Shannon, sister of the bride, and Frank Belik of Rock Island, attended the couple.The bride wore a navy blue dress | with pale blue trim and accessories j Her flowers were roses in a corsagearrangement. *The bridesmaid wore a gray dress.Her accessories were blue and shehad a corsage of roses.The bride attended the Rock Island high school.Mr. Miasori attended high'school at Marengo, Iowa. He,is employed as a designer at the Tuchis flower and gift shop. The couple will reside at 800 Seventeenth street, Rock Island.The Mason family were former residents of Oxford. Elvin Mason is a grandson of Mrs. Clara J. Mason of Oxford.
