‘Herman Fleischer Plead Guilty to Keeping Nuisance, Fined $100 and Costs In municipal court Herman Fleischer plead guilty to a charge of keeping a nuisance, and was fined 3100 and costs, amounting to $11. Sentence Wag suspended for forty days on bail of $200. Bert Frenne, alias John Ellingson, charged with forgery in the secon degree, was also arraigned. He waived examination and was bound over to the district court, being com mitted to the county jail to await the action of the grand jury. Checks amounting to over $209 have been cashed by Brainerd busi ness houses the past month, and it is charged that Frenne wrote these checks, all payable at an Aitkin bank. Daniel Marken, 618 North Ninth street, was arraigned in municipal court this morning on a charge of disorderly conduct in accosting a number of women and girls on the streets of the city during the even ings of the past two weeks. The case was continued until this afternoon at two o’clock, at which time it was continued again until the same hour Tuesday afternoon, to allow for a sanity examination, be fore proceeding with the prosecution . Mr. Marken was arrested on South Sixth street about 8 o'clock Saturday evening, by Police Captain Erick Graff, on complaint of several young ‘girls. He was taken to the police station, and Judge J. H. Warner called, who allowed him to be set free on bail. C. A. Ryan of the firm of M. E and C. A. Ryan, is Mr. Marken’s at torney, and D. H. Fullerton, city at torney is prosecuting the case.
