Col. Bob Campbell, our clever Circuit Clerk, is the owner of the champion lung distance running horse. The horse, which has been known for bis gentleness, made his running record last Tuesday afternoon. He became frightened at the train while hitched to a buggy at the railroad station and broke loose from CoL Campbell who was attempting to hold him by the bit, and ran out the Lebanon pike to Booker's road, where he turned off and went at a great clip. He was afterward found a distance of five miles from where he started, and it is said he made the run in about five tninules, or a mile a minute. Straflgc to say, the buggy was not damaged to any extent.
