The second Quarterly conference .whichwas held at Salem, February 24, 1844,licensed D. L. Malicoat to preach, he having been recommended by the class at Whittenburg’s. His name has been on the \‘ Old Journal” for years as an exhort-er. Subsequently his walk was not the most ofderly. and he was expelled from the church; rejoined, was relicensed, and expelled a second time. Of his last daysI have no knowledge.a i.1__ i.i. r\ ■ . 1
