Frank E. PinchFrank Ellsworth Pinch, 77, retired farmer living two miles west of Manchester, -in Coffin’s Grove township, died at the Memorial hospital in this city Aug. 6, 1952, after a long illness. Last rites were held at the Shelly funeral home Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, the Rev. Harold C. Anderson officiating. Burial was made in Oakland cemetery here.Mr. Pinch was a son of Reuben and Sydney Mitts Pinch, earlyresidents of Manchester, and was born near Epworth,. Iowa, June '27,/1875. H*e had been a resident here for 65 years, and it was here on Nov. 29, 1899, that he was united in marriage-'‘with’' Marguerite Meyers who survives him, together with , a daughter, Mrs. Jobie Y. Atwater, of Grundy Center, Iowa; two brothers,, Bert and Harry Pinch;of: Chicago,^IlL;. a grandson, Jobie Dean Atwater, of the U. S/navy, stationed at Yoku-spka, Japan;, and several nieces and nebhews.'-Mr. Pinbh waspre-ceded in death by his parents, ah infant sister and four brothers— Archie, William, Charles and James Pinch.
