In 1855 Mr. Glade was married to Mary Khorst and this union was blessed with one son. He came to America in 1861 and lived in Wilton Center about one year. He then came to Manhattan where he has resided forty-two years. His wife died in 1888, and since that time Mr. Glade has made his home with his son, August. There remain to mourn the loss of a devoted parent, one son, eight grand-chiWren, one Stepson, Fred Hemme. of Manhattan, and a host of friends and neighbors who win remember him kindly. A large number followed the remains to the last resting place at Wilton Center cemetery.
