Jury So Declares in the Howard- Dixon Case—Other Items from To day's Court Proceedings. The jury in the case of state vs. Henry Howard and Julia Dixon, for living in adultry, returned a verdict yesterday afternoon, finding them guilty and fixing their punishment as follows: Howard was fined $10 and goes to jail for 30 days. The lady in the case was fined one cent and given one day in jail. State vs. Frank Canfield, for steal ing a watch, which was tried yester day, is under advisement by the court at this writing. Case of E. E. Watts vas board of county commissioners, was on trial today. Case of state vs. Mrs. Chas. Colvin, for keeping house of ill fame, set for trial Monday. Defendant arraigned and entered plea of not guilty. Court calls for Monday. Civil docket—9,945; 9,979; 9,981; 9,990; 10, 015; 10,026.
