^ ^ —The Hazlohurst Democratic Conservative Club was cnl led to order by J. A. Horne 1st Vico President. After roll call, persons desiring to join came forward and enrol lop. Pursuant to a resolution, R. X. Miller then addressed the club. A committeo of five wore appointed, viz: J. A. Horne, Jno. Dunning sr., T J. Kent, L. L. Patheree and Wm. Haley to lay off and designate tlie metes and boundsof the voting precincts of this place.Resolved, That the Executive Committee be requested to call for delegates from every Club in tbe county to meet and designate a day for a grand Mass meeting.After other business tbe Club adjourned till August 12tb, at 5. p.m.Dennis Cranberry, Scc’y.
