The marriage of Mr. John Kreis and Miss Emma Schiff took place at the Church of the Cross (Reformed Denomination,) corner of Bay miller and Findlay streets, evening before last, at a little after 8 o’clock. The church was full to overflowing with interested friends. The three bridesmaids—the Misses Sallie Britt, Hen rietta Schneider and Carrie Kreis—were beauti fully dressed in the height of the fashion. The groomsmen were Messrs. Louis Schneider, Henry Kreis and John Schiff, Jr. The bride was tastefully dressed, in white silk with long trail, and orange blossoms. The ceremony was per formed by Rev. Mr. Mease, assisted by Rev. Mr. Aschenfelter. After the ceremony a large num ber of invited guests accompanied the marriage party to the pleasant suburban residence of Hon oho Schiff, where they enjoyed themselves to an early hour of the following day.
