BURGESS - “DOUG” DOUGLAS Douglas “Doug’ Burgess passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at the age of 73 years, beloved husband of Nancy “Lil” Burgess of Medicine Hat. He also leaves to cherish his memory his children, Bob (Gina) Burgess and Denise Burgess (her special friend Archie Clampitt); three grandchildren, Brayden, Marissa, Teagan and two special poodles Cracker and Disney; one brother, Jim Burgess of Medicine Hat. He was predeceased by his parents Helen and Daniel Burgess. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Monday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the Holy Family Parish (1451 Strachan Road SE) on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with The Rev. Dr. David Carter and Reverend Dr. Richard Worden officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.
