Lloyd M. JacobsonServices for Lloyd M. Jacobson, 86, were held Sunday from the Church of the Open Bible with the Rev. David Frank officiating. Burial was in Fair view Cemetery near Dows and Surls Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Jacobson died Thursday at Iowa Falls Care Center.Lloyd M. Jacobson, the son of John and Mary Olson Jacobson, was born at Dows May 29,1894. He was a veteran of World War I and married Daisy Irene Madole at Dows March 12, 1919. They farmed near Dows until 1937, later near New Providence and retired and moved to Iowa Falls in March, 1973. Mr. Jacobson was a member of the Church of the Open Bible.In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Orville of Manchester; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Oscar of Cedar Falls and Melvin of Manchester; and two sisters, Lucille Covington of Crosbyton, Tex., and Caroline Igou of Cedar Rapids. Preceding him in death was a sister.
