SPRINGFIELD — Argentine Rocca, biggest name in wrest ling, will headline the first of a series of wrestling cards Thurs day night (Aug. 13) at Punchon Park, home of the Springfield Eastern League baseball club. The barefoot whiz will take on El Toro, heavyweight champion of Puerto Rico, in a finish bout expected to draw a crowd up wards of 3,000. Promoter Mike Kilonis of Chi cago, who directed midwest shows 10 years for the Fred Kohler organization, has arrang ed the following undercard: Pete Sanchez, New York, vs Ivan Meliikoff, Russia, best-of three semi final; Ray Rosa, Puerto Rico, vs Ricky Hornedo, Los Angeles, half-hour special; Alexander the Great, heavy weight champion of Greece, vs Shabu of India, 20-minute open er. The show will start at 8.80. If rained out, it will be held Fri day. Advance tickets are available at the Springfield Giants’ office in Pynchon Park. WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) The Baltimore Colts put full back Bob Gaithers of New Mex ico State on waivers Monday.
