A dog scratching on their door awakened and saved a Negro couple, Charlie and Alma Webb, from a fiery death when their home in the Towaliga district was totally destroyed about 2:30 Monday morning from a blaze of unknown origin.The couple resided on the J, L. Bailey Jr. farm and were living in the old Sandy Springs school building.
