Golden Anniversary — Mr. and Mrs. Adolf Schaefer, 416 Sixteenth Avenue North, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at the Zion Lutheran Church Sunday at 2 p.m. From Missouri — Mrs. Madge Hill of Neosho, Mo., is visiting her uncle,from Storey, 520 Fif teenth Avenue North. The Storys and Mrs. Hill spent Mon day and Tuesday at Payette Lakes. To New Mexico — Mr. and Mrs. Dean Mounce are leaving soon for Roswell, N.M., to make their home. They were married here July 27. Mrs. Mounce is the former Carolyn Jacobs of 403 Twelfth Avenue North. Attend Wedding — Mrs. Fan nie Thompson of Sutherlin, Ore., returned home Wednesday after visiting Mr. and Mrs. Olen Doane and family and attend ing the wedding of the Doanes’ son, Leon, to Doris Kissling. Clayton Doane of Woodston, Kan., returned home Wednes day after attending the wedding. MYF — Senior High Method ist Youth Fellowship will have its regular meeting Sunday at 7 pm. at the Egbert Gardens with George Covert presiding. There will be refreshments and games after the meeting. Mem bers planning to attend the Warm Lake retreat are being urged to attend since plans for the retreat will be discussed. Grange — Nampa Valley Grange Auxiliary will meet all day Friday for quilting. The group will have a potluck luncheon at noon. From California — Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Walker of Long Beach, Calif., and their three children were overnight guests of Walker’s parents, Rev. and Mrs. Galen K. Walker, 512 Elev enth Avenue South. The vis itors were en route home from Boston, Mass. Walker is director of the Council of Churches in Long Beach. Those attending are be ing asked to take lunches and table service. Coffee, ice cream and cold drinks will be served by the committee. To California — Mrs. A. J. Kalb left Thursday for a two weeks vacation in Sacramento, Calif. She will visit her brother in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Page, for several days and will go on to Galt, Calif., for a brief stay with her mother. Intermountain Institute—The annual reunion of the Inter mountain Institute of Weiser will be conducted Sunday at 1 p. m. in Boise in Julia Davis Park near the rose garden. Those attending are being asked to take ready-to-eat food and their own table service.
