MTHERVDUtE MANWED AT FOREST CITYCarl Sunde and MfSs Effie Chiael Married July 21st,—Will Reside ThereEstherville people will be interested in the marriage of Carl Sunde, formerly of this city, and Misa Effie Chisel, that, took place at Forest, City on July 21st. Both Mr. and Mrs. Sunde are well known to Estherville people, Mr. Sunde having reaided here for several years. Mrs. Sunde hag vigited Estherville on several occasions and has made many friends here by her pleasant manner and charming personality. The following is taken from the Forest City Summit regarding their wedding:The marriage of Miss Effie Chisel to Carl Sunde was solemnized at the Immanuel Lutheran parsonage on Wednesday morning, July 21st., at 10:30, Rev, J. A. Hinderlie officiating. The bride was attended by Miss Irene Peterson, of Blooming Prairie and the bridegroom's attendant was Has Osby, of Kanawa, both Waldorf college friends. Following the ceremony a delicious two course dinner was served at the bride’s home. The home was beautifully decorated for the occasion and the table decorations were sweet peas. The bride wore a very pretty dress of coral georgette trimmed in cream lace. The bridesmaid wore tan georgette. Mr. and Mrs. Sunde left that afternoon for a week’s visit with the lady's relatives in Minnesota and North Dakota, after which they will return and make their home for the present in rooms in the Florence Hill residence. Mrs. Sunde is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Chisel and moved to Forest City from Miller with her parents eight years ago. She is a young woman of charming qualities and is well liked by all her acquaintances, She is’a graduate of our local high school and Waldorf college. She has been employed at the defunct First National bank since December 1st and will continue there. Mr. Sunde, who comes from Estherville, is a fine young man well equipped with the qualities that make for accomplishments and success In life. He graduated from the academic course at Waldorf and for the past year has been employed as yard man at the ThotnDBon yards.*'
