The Thomasville junior baseball club is preparing to play a series of three games with Waycross next week. They will leave here Monday after noon. The juniors is composed of the following players: C. C. Pitt man, J. D. Pittman, W. D. Barbee, Horace Bouchelle, J. Smith, H. A. Linton, Martin Cooper, Roy Dekle, Paul McIntosh and E. del Pino, C. C. Pittman captains the team. The boys have been doing some hard practice work, and are quite confident of being victorious in the contest with the Magic City boys. The little white goats, which were 20 annoying a year ago, have put in their appearance again, though not in to large numbers. These insects were never seen here before last year and nothing is known of them. It is hoped that they will not become so numerous this year as they were last. The Alabama Midland train was about an hour late yesterday.
