Browne abused her and she left him inside of six months. Browne’s »eal name was Bludsoe, but he adopted the name of Gen’l Tem Browne, whose body- servant he was during the war. One of the murdered man’s peculiarities was his dispositson to take offense if referred to by his right name. Many a fight has followed the calling of him by the name of Bludsoe. He seemed to think that the borrowed name of b‘m distinguished patron bestowed upon him a great honoT. ‘A woman named Storms, and a Winchester man named Price, are under arrest, charged with complicity in the murder.
