Mr. Alex. Peddie, the agent of the Scottish American ColonizatianfcompaDy, was* in Milwaukee Wednesday making the final payments and securing the' deeds for the 20,000 acres of land recently purchased by him from the Chicago, Milwaukee St Paxil company. The land, as staled before, is located in north-western Iowa. In an interview with Mr. Peddle, the gentleman et itcd that 400 Scotch people had already eottl A iu tbese new lands and immigration fiom Scotland to this point next year will be enormous.
