WESTERN NEW YORKERIE lt;OI NTV.The following persona comprise the Committee of the Friends of ti uman Progress, who hold their annual meeting in Brant on the 27th inat.: Levi Brown, Thomas J.Brownell, Chancey Higley, Mrs. PrudenceK. Ssinton, Mrs. B. P. Dillingham.-Dedicatorial services were conducted in the M. E. Church at Wales on the 6th inst. by Rev. D. H. Muller, of Buffalo, who preached one of the moat powerful and eloquent sermons ever heard in that church. Ucv. W m. V. R. Blighton, the paster, writes us that when money was called for to pay the expenses incurred by repairs and the preacher’s salary enough was obtained to meet all demands and still leave thechurch free from debt. We are informedby presiding Elder Kobie that the Buffalo District Camp Meeting will be held on the Fair C rounds at Aurora, commencing on Thursday, the 1'Jth inst., and continuing one week. Considerable interest has already been awaaened throughout the district on the subject. The grounds are the finest in the country, and being within five minutes walk of the termination of the Buffalo k Washington Railway, a large number of jieople will undoubtedly attend.
