DEMOCRATIC MEETING.Al a meeting of the Democratic Party of the city and county ol Mobile, held at the Allaitnbra on Monday evening last, (9th inatj) Col. Holmes waa culled to the Chair, and B. Tariiy uus appointed Secretary. The object of the meeting having been made known by the Chairman, which was the course necessary to I* submitted to the next (Jener-al Assembly lor the welfare and benefit of the citi-lem* of this county in general. Col. Phillips presented the following resolutions, which were adopted:
