AUGUST 22 A community shower for Nixie Ahart of Spirit Lake, bride-to be of Roger Wittrock, at Colum bia Hall, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Tuesday, August 22, at 8 p.m. No cards are being sent, everyone is welcome. Mary T. Sproul was commis sioned in 1950 as the first woman doctor in the Navy Medical Corps.
