J. S. Lathrom DeadJoseph S. Lathrom* for many years cashier of the Bank of Hartville and exrecorder of this county, died at his home on Whetstone, thirteen miles east of Harl-ville on July 31st. He was born in Wright county and has been one of the most prominent men in the county for many years. The Lathrom family is one of the first of the old families to settle in the Ozarks, Mr. Lathrom was a member of the M. E. church* the Modern Woodmen, Odd Fel* low and Masonic lodges. While there has been a Woodman lodge here for more than twenty years Mr. Lathrom is the first member the local camp has lost. He leave!' a widow and a large family of children beaides#nuaierou9 other relatives to mourn bis loss.— Hartville Democrat,,
