Two Grown Children. !Waldo, 0., August 2.—[Special] ! —John Meigs Selanders died at his j lt;home at this place Thursday even-i^ing, at 5:30 o’clock, after an illness]®C(1of nearly four months, of cancer ofjt the throat He had been confined to^ his bed five weeks Mr Selanders j lt;was taken to Columbus, a few weeks ago, and an operation was attempted, but on account of his condition it could not be performed. Dr 12 G. Marsh had been attending him. 1The deceased was born in Waldo, April 28, 1853, and was married to Katherine Reeiy. November 30, 1880. He is survived by his widow and two children, Mrs Ralph Gab-ler and John Selanders, of Waldo, and by five sisters and two brothers, Mrs Andrew ingle and Miss Linda Selanders, of Marion; Mrs Alvina Lawrence, of Crawfordsville, Indiana, Mrs. Jennie Ellis, of Kansas City, Mrs. Har’ia Houseworth, of Waldo; Wesley Selanders of Norton, and James Selanders, of Carson, Kansas. He is also survned by two grandchildren. Mr. Selandeis was alife-long resident of Waldo.The funeral services will be held11 t (tSunday afternoon at 2.30 o’clock, iat the Reformed ehuich. Rev W E Huckeriede, of Prospect, officiating Following the services, interment will be made in the Waldo cemeterj.The new automobile coats are almost shapeless, and frequently show black and gray stripes, used diagonally.
