She repoute her mother’s health improving. Our friend and neighbor, J. 8. Fiteh ot has accepted a position on the steam er, City of Lankinsville. He left Thurs day for Hawkinsville. Mr. Fitcher is a good steam boat man and we commend him to his new employers. EL. W. Clements of this vicinity has purchased the stock of general merchan dise of Mr. Morgan Cook of Chauncey. We wish him with success in this new field of labor. John E. Clements of Bodom was vis iting in this neighborhood Sunday. GL. H. Byals and Vardie Clements of Stackey were there Sunday. Arthur Gibbs and A. M. Byals at tended preaching at Towns Sunday. Miss Lizzie Byals is visiting her cous in, Miss Clements near Stackey at this writing. Arthur Clements of Stuckey passed through tere Sunday on his way home from Sodom where he had been on an business trip. James F. Dibbs is on the sick list at present, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Clemente can boast of having the finest drove of young turkeys of anyone in our section. They are tiny and more of them than we could count, James G. Barford is the man that kills hawke for us, G. T. Adame of Ockwalkee was visit ing here Sunday, County School Commissioner Hutch eson was here one day the past week, but on account of the sickness of Miss Vingon's mother he failed to accomplish the purpose of this trip.
