Tub floral offerings at the funeral of May Hoot are said to have been the finest ever seen in the city. Among the offerings from abroad was a handsome harp and sickle from friends in Dubuque, Iowa, and an elegant basket of cut flowers from her former classmates in llockford, Ills., also the collections sent In by her young friends in this city, aud friends of the family, were said to have been exquisto in fragrance, beauty and arrangement.
