Two LOUISIANA ENTERPRISES. A Mineral Prospecting Company and a Bank at Merryville, Lake Charles, La. Two new Cal cester Varish enterprises were made going concerns Monday at the office of District Clerk Gardiner. The Na tional Oi Company, with a life lease of ninety-nine years and a home at Jennings, has filed its charter for rec ord. The capital stock is $10,000 divid ed into 1,000 $i.n shares. The of jects and purposes are to drill for natural sas and all other minerals and to do everything necessary to care for and dispose of the product. The of ficers and first board of directors are as follows: Mr. Mattison, presi dent; Clinton C. Haywood, vice presi dent; J. H. Heinen, secretary; N. 5. Whisentunt, treasurer, The State Bank of Merryville, cap ital $30,000, in $100 shares, to become a going concern when $4,000 is paid in, has been authorized to begin a general banking bsiness at Merryville. The first board of directors is com posed of W. S. Mathews, T .J. Car roll, M. C. Frazer, BR. A. Carroll, R. E. Welburn, J. J. Nichols, G. K. Riess, J. E. M. Hennigan and Erastus Cole. A president, frst and second vice presidents and a cashier are to be elected by the directors.
