During the high wind last Saturday, the steamer Forest Queen left her moorings just below this city, and started down the river. A party of carpenters, who were aboard, dropped the anchor, but it did not catch, and she drifted down to Split Rock, where she landed handsomely between the two rocks, without receiving any damage.
