Collins gets invitation to Olympic tryouts CALGARY — Delaney Collins of Pilot Mound has been given a chance to make Canada’s Olympic women’s hockey team. Collins, a 24-year-old defenceman who was cut from the national team that won its seventh world champi onship in April, is one of 30 players who has been invited here to try out for the team that will compete in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. The camp begins today at Father Bauer Arena and Collins is one of 10 defenceman in the camp. The team will play 21 international exhibition games and eight games against Canadian Select teams leading up to the Olympics. Collins was on Team Canada when it won its sixth world championship in 2000. Brandon Sun
