Interns were selected on the basis of their involvement in community affairs, interest in government, and their involvement in community affairs, interest in government, and their plans for sharing what they learned in Washington with their local communities.From Wednesday, April 25, to Saturday morning, April 28, the senior interns participated I’ve been involved in in the 16th Annual Wirth Washington Seminar. Going to Washington helped me understand what I’m talking about”Ortega said. “It’s a way of get- crisis, and the outlook for the U.S. economy.4«TtI’m so happy every time I think about this that my heart goes into my throat,” Ortegasaid. “I always wanted to learn more about government so that I could use it to help others.Ortega stresses the need for the United States to pay more attention to the problems of Ortega was bom in Pueblo and has lived in Colorado Springs since 1946.
