Mr. and Mrs. Frank Crider and family have returned to their home in Kouts, Inc., after visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Crider, in Harlan. Their daughter, Mrs. Yvonne Vanover, Valparaiso, Ind., is here this week. Mrs. Davie Jones, Tennessee, is visiting friends and relatives in Harlan this week. Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Cooley have returned from several days visit in West Palm Beach. Mrs. Green Ellison, Mrs. Geneva Nichols, Daytona Beach and Major and Mrs. John Thomson and family of Wood bridge, Va., are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Wade. Mr. and Mrs. David Wright and children, Stevie, Kimberly, Tommy, Jill, Daren, David Jr. and Billy have returned to Chicago after two weeks visit with Mrs. Alkie Brock. Mr. and Mrs. Robert N. Jones visited in Atlanta with relatives recently. Mrs. R. L. Lee has returned to her home in Knoxville after spending a few days with her mother, Mrs. Dennis Saylor, Harlan. Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Graham, Indianapolis, have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Belcher and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Belcher. Miss Betts McFarland spent Donation Is Made A donation was given to the Harlan High School Musettes by the Class of 1965 which held a reunion recently The Musettes performed during the reunion banquet and activities. The donation was made in appreciation for their services several weeks in Hawaii with Mrs. William McFarland III, who accompanied her home for a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Minnard, and other relatives. Mrs. Robert Roark has returned from Dayton, C., where she visited Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Roark and family and attended the graduation of her grandson, Robert, from Dayton High School. Mrs. Nora Slusher has returned from Columbus, CO., where she attended the funeral of her sister, Mrs. Mary E. Rutherford and brother-in-law, Al Terrell Mr. and Mrs. Henry Williams of Dayton have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Joe Marsill in Lynch. Mr. and Mrs. Darryl Watson, Waynesville, C., are visiting her mother, Mrs. Bill Moody, and other relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Jackson have returned to Lexington after a visit with his mother, Mrs. Octavia Jackson. Births Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Crawford, Harlan, announce the birth Aug. 3 of an eight-pound, flounce son in Harlan Ap palachian Regional Hospital. A Son Mr. and Mrs. George Saylor, Loyall, are the parents of a six pound, nine-ounce son born Aug. 4 in Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. A Daughter Mr. and Mrs. Seldon Combs, Coalgood, are the parents of a six-pound, eight-ounce daughter born Aug. 4 in Harlan Ap palachian Regional Hospital. Meeting Dates Harlan Book Club Harlan Book Club will meet Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Eugene Cawood. The review will be given by Mrs. George Whitfield.
