A special 124 day camping period will be held from August 16 through 27 at YMCA Camp Pinewood. Boys and girls in grades three through nine this fall may register for the few openings remaining. The fee, including transporta tion and insurance, is $90 with a $1 discount for YMCA mem bers. Canoeing, boating, sailing, and swimming are the most popular activities on the camp's own Lake Echo. Horseback rid ing, camp craft, and camp fires are the most popular land activities. CHARTERED busses will leave the Harvey YMCA August 16 at 9 a.m., and return August 27 at 4:30 p.m. Over 600 youths from the south suburban area have at tended YMCA Camp Pinewood this summer. Flossmoor youth at camp through August 16 include Ann Hartman, Robin Karno, Caludia Mathiu, Sheryl Steinberg, Janet Cogen, Arthur Wax, Randy and Mark Zisook, and Bonnie Heller. Campers from Park Forest are Cindy and Kimberly Bowen, Jody Cohen, Laura and Beth Green, Brock and Holli Pryor, Tin, and Kim Stephenson, and Michele Mellett and Edward Brennan. Representing other south suburban towns are Cindy Warsau of Hazel Crest, Charles Klass of Glenwood, Lori Hollander, Alisa Licht and Ricky Bateson, Olympia Fields, and Robert Conner, Patrick and Richard Freese and Jeffery Sizemoor, Homewood.
