MORITZ, 75, RETIRED FARMER AT STRUBLE IS DEAD;RITES SET THURSDAY• • • • / . •John David Moritz, 75, retired Struble farmer, died Monday at Sacred Heart hospital after a year and a half of illness. He had been hospitalized one day.MFuneral services will be at ; 2 ,p.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran church, Lc Mars. Rev.H. II. Meyer will officiate. Burial will be in the Kingsley cemetery under direction of Mauer’s funeral home.Mr. Moritz was born May 1, 1887, in Kansas, a son of the late David and Mentje Frise Moritz. He came to Plymouth county as a child and had resided here since.His marriage to Maggie Si-monsen took place June 1,1916, in Le Mars.Surviving are the widow, Maggie; two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Page of Kingsley and Mrs. Merleen Mentzer of -Hackensack, Minn.; a son, Jack, of Struble; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Harm of Washta and George of Kingsley, and two sisters, Emma Laude of Kennedy, Minn., and Kate Baldes of Remsen. v He was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
