A Seafield Fall, Precipitating Five Men—On, Killed, Others Wounded. Special to the Gazette. De Leon, Tex., Aug. 7.—Quite a serious accident occurred here this even ing by which one man may lose his life and four others were badly hurt. These five men were at work on the Higgin botham building when a scaffold gave way, throwing all of them to the ground among the rocks and thunbers. They suffered injuries as follows: All badly bruised through chest and body; Sam Brown, right leg crushed at knee, ankle and thigh, will have to be amputated; Charles Moore, bad cuts on arms and head; L. Bertz, bad cut on head; J. H. Morrell, one arm crushed at wrist; W. R. Westbrook, badly bruised. No blame attached to any one for the scaffold failing. It seems all of the men were in one place talking when it gave way.
