A double ring ceremony took place in St. Vladimir and Olga church in Winnipeg. Father Kushnir perform ed the ceremony at 4 p.m on Satur day, July 12, when Shirley Mae Brott, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Brott, of Binscarth, be came the bride of Ronald Alfred Twerdon, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs Fred Twerdon, of Shoal Lake. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a pink ankle length nylon net over taffeta dress with white nylon headdress and veil and carried white roses and forget-me nts. The maid of honor, Miss Eleanor Harrison, cousin of the bride, was attired in a pink ankle length nylon net over taffeta dress with matching headdress and carried white carna tions. Best man, friend of the groom, was Mr. Frank Wowryk, of Winni peg. The mother of the bride chose a blue and white two piece dress with white accessories and wore red roses The groom’s mother wore a two piece flowered dress with white and navy accessories and red roses. Guests from out of town were: Mr and Mrs. C. R. Brett, parents of the bride and sister, of Binscarth; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Twerdon, parents of the groom and brothers and sis ters, all of Shoal Lake, Mr. and Mrs Earle Brett, of Kewatin, Ontario, and friends from Winnipeg of the bride and groom. A wedding banquet was held at Chans Cale. Reception was held at 198 Langside Street. The young couple will reside in Winnipeg. ing any damage.
