Born In Johnson county, June 1, 1875, he had resided in Cedar Rapids 21 years. His wife, Tracy, died in 1905 and a daughter, Lottie, in 1918.\ (Surviving. are a son, Leo, of Cedar Rapids; four sisters, Mrs. John Sedla* cek of Swisher; Mrs. J. W« Soboda and Mrs. John J. Houser, both of Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Michael Machula of North Liberty, and six brothers, Milo and Frank of Oxford, Charles of Wal* iford, Joseph of Mount Vernon, Sam of Sumner and William of Iowa City.• Funeral services were held- ini the Polansky chaipel Sunday at 1:30 p. .in.
