Huehli, living two miles west of Powell, committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with a shotgun last Saturday. *The deceased had a wife, two sons and daughter. The two latter were attending a picnic at Alexandria, and Mr. and Mrs. Buchli were alone in the house at the time of the tragedy, Mrs. B. was in the Cellar attending to some work when she heard the report of a gun.- She ran up stairs and found the body of her husband prostrate upon the bed, the top of his head completely blown away and his brains scattered about the room in a shocking manner. It was found, however, that about two weeks previous he had become overheated while working in the field, from which he had hardly recovered, and that immediately preceding the tragedy he had been cleaning out a chimney in the garret of his residence next to the roof, and it is presumed the intense heat temporarily unbalanced his mind.
