‘Blue Jacket’ author sues First FrontierOutdoor drama group vows to return next year with new showBy AARON KEITH HARRISStaff Writeraharris@xeniagazette. comXENIA — The playwright for the “Blue Jacket” outdoor drama is suing First Frontier for non-payment of royalties, while First Frontier says it plans to reopen a brand new show in 2009.Attorneys for playwright W.L. Mundell filed in Greene County Common Pleas Court Tuesday a lawsuit alleging that, aside from one small payment in 2006, Mundell has not been paid royalties since 2002. Under Mundell’s original agreement with First Frontier, he is entitled to five percent of the gross box office for each performance of “Blue Jacket.”“We've been trying to work with them for a number of years and just haven't been able to get anywhere so this is kind of a last resort, said Jarrod M.
