FUNERAL SERVICES FOR THOMAS MARIK, 89■Funeral services were held Monday, August 3, ait Our Lady of Lourdes church for Thomas Marik, 89, who died at the hospital in New Hampton', July 31, of ■complications of old age, He has ibeen ill for four months.Rev. D. T. Noonan sang the Requekn High Mass. Burial was in Lourdes Cemefcary, and the Fall bearers were his nephew^; John Marik, John Ko~ udelka, Louis Lukes, Robert Kovadik, Clarence Koudelka and Victor Praska.Thomas Marik was born, December 22, 18fi9, at Spil-ville,. the son of Joseph and Anna Marik. He -came to the Lourdes vicinity in 1893 where he was employed in fawning.On September 12, 1893, he married Mary Koudelka. They are‘We ‘parents of ToW’ ren, three of them survive. Sixteen grandchildren and fifty-four. great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife and a daughter Mayme, Mrs. Severt Thompson of Elm a; his parents and five brothers John, Frank, Albert, Joseph and James, He was the last of the family.* * *
