FUNERAL SERVICES FOR THOMAS MARIK, 89■Funeral services were held Monday, August 3, ait Our Lady of Lourdes church for Thomas Marik, 89, who died at the hospital in New Hampton', July 81, of •complications of old age. He has ibeen ill for four months.Rev. D. T. Noonan sang the Requekn High Mass. Burial was in Lourdes Cemetary, and the Fall bearers were his nephews; John Marik, John Rondel kia, Louis Lukes, Robert Kovadik, Clarence Koudelka and Victor Praska.Thomas Marik was born, December 22, 18fi9, at Spil-ville,. the son of Joseph and Anna- Manic. He vame to the Lourdes vicinity in 1893 where he was employed in fanning.On-September 12, 1893, he married Mary Koudelka. They are‘We' parents of ‘'foW’BfiHd*-”* ren, three of -them survive. Sixteen grandchildren and fifty-four. great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife and a daughter Mayme, Mrs. Severt Thompson of Elma; his parents and -five brothers John, Frank, Albert, Joseph and James, He was the last of the family.* * *
