Automatic telephones will go into operation in Grimshaw at foam. Saturday, August ©. This is earlier than previously unne nounced, but due to technical reasons it was found advisable to put the service into cbfect immediately. Work will proceed an installa tion of phones for automatic service in Berwyn and Brown vale, with August 16 the date set for operation. GRIMSHAW GRIMSHAW, Aug. 4.—A tea was held at the home of Mrs. J. Christensen July 30 when 27 friends gathered to bid farewell to Mrs. Lou Tyndall, who left the following day to make her home in Calgary. The gather ing presented her with a lovely table lamp and wall mirror. She also received a cup and saucer from the Evening branch of the United Church W.A. and a teaspoon from the W.I. A de licious lunch was served by the ladies. Mr. Tyndall proceeded Mrs. Tyndall and the family to Calgary several weeks ago where he has been transferred to the head office of the Mid land Pacific Grain Corp. The good wishes of the community go with the Tyndall family. Cecil Kinley has been con fined to his bed for the past few days with a heart ailment. It is hoped that he may soon be around again.
