oral of Charles Knight,The funeral of Charles Knight, who died of heart failure while in the water at Yellow Lake last Fnday, was fromthe M. E. church in Jonesboro Sunday afternoon and was attended by a large concourse of people.Young Knight* was camping at the lake with his sweetheart, Mias Lizzie Carey, and other companions, and had rowed Miss Carey and her lady friends across the lake. They had on bathing suits and wero wading in the' water, when Knight suddenly fell into the water and disappeared. The girls thought he was diving, but when he failed to reappear they btcatuo panic-stricken and screamed for help. Some men who happened to be near came to the rescue and finally succeeded in finding the bod}*.Charles Knight*was about 22 years old, the sou of T. W. Knight of Jonesboro. He worked in his uncle’s store in South Marion, and was soon to be married to Miss Carey. lie had his house built and furnished, and the wedding was to have occurred in a few days after their return from camp. The bereaved parents aad his bride-to-be have the heartfelt sympathy of a host of friends.
