HENDERSON— WILKINSON St. George’s church, Birtle, was the scene of a pretty wedding on Tuesday, July 17, at 2:30 p.m. when Irene Florence Wilkinson, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Wilkinson. Birtle became the bride of Raymond Carl Henderson, young est son of Mrs M. Henderson, of Inglis, Manitoba. Rev. F. R. Coyle officiated Mr. Lorne Wotton, of Calgary, ‘brother-in-law of the bride, played the wedding music and Mr. Idres Wynne sang “The Lord's Prayer” during the signing of the register. Miss Florence Dawson, of Winnipec, was bridesmaid and Mr. Gordon Fingas, of Shoal Lake, was best man. Guests were ushered by George Arthur Wilkinson, brother of the bride, and Mr Gordon McKay, of Inelis. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a cocktail fenedh white satin gown with nylon tulle overskirt with illusion lace bolera and full length lily pointed sleeves. Her elbow length veil was held in place by a nylon sweetheart bridal halo and she carried a bou quet of red roses. A reception was held in the Town Mall for fifty guests. The happy couple left for points east. For travelling the bride wore aqua blue brocade nylon over satin dress with white accessories, and a corsage of yellow roses.
