“ITS ALL YOURS” COMINGTO THE IOWA FRIDAYMadeleine Carroll and Francis Lederet* form the romantic new co-starring duo in the comedy “It’s A11 Yours” starting at the Iowa Theatre, Cedar Rapids, Friday. This filmhas an unusual “man bites dog” twist—for in it the secretary doesn’t chase the playboy, but the playboy has to chase the secretary when she inherits all the money he thought was coming to him. Playing nursemaid to $4,000,000 proves a tough job.Supporting the stars are Miseha Auer, Grace Bradley, Connie Boswell, George McKay and Richard Carle. Miseha Auer plays a riotous supporting role as a fortune-hunting baron who really falls in love, and Connie Boswell’s mellow singing, so well known on the stage and radio is featured in two numbers destined for popularity—“If They Gave Me a Million” and “Don’t Let Mammy Go.”In the picture the playboy’s uncle leaves the money to his quiet-like-a mouse secretary in hopes that the playboy will marry her and settle down, knowing that the secretary loves him. The difficulties begin when she hires him as her secretary —he having followed her to keep track of the money that should have been his—and when the French baron gets on the trail of the $4,-000,000.“Windjammer” with George O’Brien is the second feature.The WLS National Barn Dance, 1937 edition, comes to the stage of the Iowa Theatre for one day only, matinee and evening, Thursday, August 12th.
