Mr. Lums-den will get enrollees of this camp culled out until only the best remain. We have some very promising tennis players in camp and we have hopes of coming out of the tournament with a good score. The fee for entering will be fifty cents.Forest FiresJuly 28, 25 men under the supervision of Charles Hartman and George Judge were called to the Wisdom ranger station for fire suppreesi-on activities on Tie creek. Almost as soon as theyarrived at the scone of the fire, it started to rain. The f)ro was extinguished almost Immediately by this unexpected shower. All men returned to camp July 30.A separate crew of seven, men, under the supervision of Eugene Swanberg, was rushed to the scene of a fire on Baldy mountain. This was only a brush fire. Thus, the men returned to camp at 10 p. m., July 29.On July 29, 3:15 p. m., another fire was reported at Skinner meadows. A crew of 25 men under the able direction of W. F*. Edwards, wafi called to the scene. Although Mr. Edwards and his crew made a thorough search of the surroundings, not one trace of a fire could be found. So, having arrived to the conclusion that the report which had brought them to the scene was the work of an over excited observer, the men returned to camp, arriving here at 8:15 p.m., July 30.—Ronald L.
