Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Miller and Mr. and Mrs. George McCullough and fam ilies returned Friday from an auto trip through Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. N. H. Brown and Mrs. Mable McCullough left, Saturday for Lake. Superior by auto. Mr. and Mrs. L. J. McClure spent last Sunday at Gurnee. Harry and Fred McCracken of Chi cago visited Mrs. Helen McClure the latter part of last week. The Vikings entertained another large crowd last Sunday. Mrs. F. B. Young and daughter of Lincoln, Neb., visited relatives here the latter part of last week. H. Sponnenberg was in Chicago on business last Saturday. A number of improvements are be ing made at the high school during the vacation months.
