Negro Killed by Whitecaps.Lock port, Tex., July 28,—Whitecaps have killed one negro and' severely beaten another. The mob first visitedTom Coperton, who was taken from his home and mercilessly beaten. Prom Coperton's cabin the mob went to the homo of John Larreraore and endeavored to enter the house. Larre* more’s wife opened fire on the mob, which the whitecappers returned. After the fusillade Larremore was found dead in the hallway of his1 house.
