Mias Emma Jones* it will be remembered graduated in dentistry a few mouths before leaving homo to join her affianced, and will aid her husband in his profession in their far distant home, where we hope naught but happi* ness and prosperity will reign.— Tbo following wo copy from the Columbus Enquirer:A letter in this city announces the marriage of Dr, S. B. Katnbo, ot.Bio do Janeiro, and Miss Emma 1L Jones, of Bluffton, Ga.— The union of these happy hearts was consummated at Bahia, by Ilev. Mr. Blackford, of that place, performing the ceremy. The fair young bride left with Dr. Coachman and his family some weeks ago, and Dr. Itnmbo in his eagerness to claim bis affianced, met them 725 miles this side of his home, where the rites were celes bra ted. It was tho bravo act of a noble girl to travel • 10,000 miles to join the man of ber choice and place her destiny iu his hands— thus abandoning parents, loved ones and friends for those she loved. Dr. 11 am bo, was at one time a citizen of*Columbus, and was highly honerod and esteemed by all who knew him. Ho loft here a fow years ago to mako his home in a foreign land. Wo are informed that he is doing well in his business at his adopted home. He is full of energy vim and perseverance, and will succeed wherever he may go. Tho photograph of Mrs. Iiurabo represents her as a charming and beautiful young lady, not hardly out of her teens.
