MMOOHATIO BTATE JUDICIAL CONVENTION.At the Democratic State Judicial Convention held at the Assembly Chamber in Madison, on Wednesday, the 4th day of August, 1852, in pursuance of the call of the Democratic State Central Committee, George B. Smith, Chairman of said Committee, called the Convention to order, and on motion, B. B. CABY of Racine, was chosen Chairman pro. tem., and Elisha Burdick of Dane, Secretary pro. tern.On motion of A. W. Randall of Waukesha, a committee of seven was appointed by the Chair to examine credentials, as follows :A. W, Randall, Saterlee Clark, N, B. Boyden, Orson Sheldon, J, Bannister, B. S. Weil, and O. B. Messinger.The list of counties was called and credentials presented. The Committee on Credentials retired, and on motion the Convention adjourned until 2 o’clock P.M.Two O’Clock P. M.The committee on credentials not being ready to report the Convention took a recess for twenty-five minutes.The committee on credentials then submitted a report, a minority dissenting from so much as refers to Lafayette county. The report was adopted, and P. B. Simpson, Charles Dunn and John McCaffrey were admitted from Lafayette county.On motion of Mr. Delaney, it was unanimously resolved to admit five delegates from the county of Rock, according to the representation to which it was entitled under the old apportionment.On motion of Mr. Hobart, the delegates from 'Washington and Waukesha were authorized to add two additional delegates each to their representation.On motion of A. B. Jackson, the delegates from Kenosha county were authorized to add one delegate to the representation of that county.The following is a complete list of the delegates, with the additions and substitutions:Dane County—S.
