Walfh at the Lime Kilns in Meath-flreet, who carries on the lime burning ia an cxtenfive manner.By the Right Hon. the LORD MAYOR of the city of Dubltn.WHEREAS this city is much infefted by ftroiing, vagrant, and fhirdy beggars, and alfo by feveral idle perfons, who under the denomination of fhoe-boys and news-hawkers, commit various offences again t the peace and good order of this metropolis. And whereas a fund is prlt; vided, whereby faid vagrant beggars and idlers may be provided with work in Bridewell, agreeable to the intention of the legiflature. I do therefore give this public notice, that from and after Mondy the 31ft of this in it.’July, I will caufe all fuch ftroling beggars, fhoe-boys, and idlerr, to be taken up and committed to Bridewell, to hard labour as the law directs. And I do hereby require and command all parifh conflables, and others, to be aiding and affifting in potting the feveral ftatutes in force againft iuch offenders.
