Mr. T. J. Garrison Receives Communi cation From Consul General Con cerning Son's Death WAS BURIED AT HORICONCITOS Further Details Promised by Letter— Laws of Country Forbid Disin a Y. J. Garrison, the first of the week, received a communication from the consul general of Panama in regard to the death of Edgar 8. Garrison. ‘The communication’ was dated the 19th of July and reports that Edgar's death occurred at night on July 16, the place of death was Narconcitos, Chiriqui province, Republic of Panama and the cause of death reported was weli. The remains were buried at Horconcitos. The local law of that country forbids bodies to be disin terol for removal until eighteen mmonths after burial. The report gives the address of the deceased as Deni son, Iowa, where his family lives and were notified. ‘This report is based upon a com munication received by the consul general from W. G. Chase, an Ameri n residing in David, Chiriqui, Re public of Panama. Further details are promised by letter, so report has been furnished as to the disposition of his effects. It was known that the deceased and Turan cial interests of considerable import ance in the country where he was operating at the time of his death What complications may arise on ac count of his property can only be told after a Mil report of the consul gen eral. It probably will be necessary for Mr. Garrison to make a rein to that country in order to straighten out the business affairs and insure the ratate securing the property belong ing to it. It may be that after W. ¢ Chaye, a partner in business with the deceased and now living in the coun try where the business was carried on, makes hingaport, that matters of property torture will be simplified to such an extent that Mr. Garrison may not be compelled to make the trip to straighten them out. ‘The friends of Mr. Garrison, as well as Edgar's friends, are anxious that as rich of his caste as possible may be saved for the benefit of his chil dren, and It is to be hoped that noth ing will transpire to divert the as sets and prevent his children from a quiring all that may be coming to them.
